Where is Woodstone Prairie?
Woodstone Prairie is situated on 93 acres of gently rolling terrain situated off of exclusive South Lake Shore Drive in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. From downtown Lake Geneva, follow 120S to Highway BB then West on South Lakeshore Drive. Click here for map.

Is Engerman Contracting the exclusive builder, or can I choose
my own builder?

Engerman Contracting is the Preferred Builder of Woodstone Prairie, however, you are not required to construct your home with them. Any fine home builder is allowed to construct at the project so long as the home design is fully approved by the Architectural Review Committee. The Architectural Styles allowed at the project are highlighted on the Home Plan page of this web site and are fully detailed in the project’s Covenants & Restrictions (available by contacting Keefe Real Estate).

Do I need to build one of the Cottage Collection homes?
No, however, the property deed restrictions and covenants will control the size, design and look of the home. If you have house plans or an idea of what you want to build, arrange for an appointment to review the feasibility of your home in Woodstone?

When can I view the property?

What amenities are on the property?
In addition to the 50+ acres of restored prairie, residents of Woodstone can enjoy the bountiful community garden, restored oak savannah with community fire ring and gathering area, native perennial gardens, wooded riparian wetland and over 1.5 mile of trails. In addition to these on site amenities, the 160 acre Town of Linn park is located just across the street from Woodstone and the Town of Linn public pier on Geneva lake is just a short drive away.

While Woodstone Prairie does not have direct lake access, we can assist buyers in outlining the numerous options for concierge in/out boat service provided by local marina’s and yacht clubs.

How can I be sure that the conservation land set aside is
permanently protected?

The creators of Woodstone Prairie have agreed to grant a conservation easement on the open space to the Geneva Lakes Conservancy to ensure that it will remain protected and undeveloped in perpetuity. The Conservancy will conduct annual inspections to ensure the open space is not being harmed or misused and may even undertake restoration projects at the site.

How do I know Woodstone Prairie is a good investment?
Walworth county is one of the fastest growing counties in the country. The beautiful area is a premium place for folks to visit, as well as retire. Because of its desirability and the access to Chicago and Milwaukee, the Lake Geneva area is in demand for both permanent housing and vacation homes.

Additionally, conservation subdivisions across the country are becoming extremely popular; bringing premium resale prices. Many have waiting lists of folks wanting healthy, safe places to live.
